In 1980s, young and educated Charlogneans were disgruntled with the French government's discrimination against them. When a peaceful offer is made to the French government to allow some Charlogneans to enter the legislature and beauracracy, the French government suppresses the movement and arrests the movements' leaders. Fearing, rebellion they however release the leaders. These leaders emboldened with the oppression in prisons decide that it is time that French are made to leave.
